5. Instruction for filling up the Application form
a. The application form is to be signed only by the father of the student . If not, the mother or guardian should sign.
b. Full permanent address (Residential) must be shown clearly.
c. Parent’s occupation and office address also must be furnished.
d. The details furnished in the filled in application form should be correct in all aspects. Any discrepancy or false information will render the application liable to be rejected.
e. Father’s and Mother’s full name should be written without any error in the spelling of their names.
6. Selection for admission
Registered candidates will be called for an Entrance Examination in English, Mathematics and Language. The children will be tested in general according to the class. Admission is purely on merit. Results of the Entrance Examination will be intimated through post to the parents within a week after the test. Meritorious students will be selected provisionally and will be called for an interview along with their parents. At the time of interview the candidates should produce the following original documents. ADMISSIONS AND WITHDRAWALS
1. Admissions are done by the Rector and his council in accordance with the Admission Policy of the Institution..
2. An Entrance Test may be conducted at the discretion of school authorities to ensure the academic standard of the pupil seeking admission.
3. Admissions are open to standards I and XI only, as a rule.
4. If the candidate seeking admission has previously attended any school, a conduct certificate and Transfer Certificate from the last school must be produced.
5. Admission may be refused to a candidate who is too old for the class into which admission is sought.
6. Application for Transfer Certificate shall be made in writing to the Headmaster by the father or the legal guardian of the pupil.
7. If an application for T.C. or any other certificate is made after a lapse of more than one year from the date on which the pupil left the school, a fee of Rs.15/- will be charged for each lapsed year.
8. No certificate of any kind will be issued to the students who are in arrears.
9. Application for a duplicate copy of the Transfer Certificate must be made to the Inspector of Anglo-Indian Schools, through the H.M. of the School. Should the Inspector authorize the issue of the certificate, a fee of Rs.100 shall be paid for it to the school.
10. Conduct Certificate will not be issued to any pupil who applies for it a year or more after he has left the school.
11. No pupil who fails for two years in succession will be kept in the School.

Children joining LKG must be aged 3+ by December of the previous year. Parents may register their children in advance, as admission is on a first come basis. As the numbers available are small, many parents choose to register their children at birth.
Parents and children are called to meet the Admissions Committee in October of the previous year. Priority from the waitlist are give to those children who already have a sibling in the School / old students children.

Admission Procedure
Hari Shree Vidyalayam offers classes from Montessori year (LKG) to class 8. Admissions are open for all levels.
Application forms are available at the school office and can be obtained upon payment of Rs.300/-.
The completed application, along with the child’s photograph, Xeroxcopies of (i) birth certificate .
(ii) community certificate and (iii) academic records, is to be submitted to the school office by the stipulated date.
Parents along with the child will be invited to Hari Shree Vidyalayam for an interactive session with the Principal/Head teacher on designated days. Children seeking admission to class 2 and upward will have to take an admission test either prior to or following the interactive session.

Upon notification parents may collect the letter of admission from the office.

Registration forms for Admission into Pre-KG for the Academic Year 2010 – 11 will be issued on the following dates:
